. EVENT OBJECTIVE:
Offer golf training from established International Golf Professionals to local young Mainland Chinese teaching professionals with 2 best students receiving a full scholarship to America to attend training at the JOE THIEL GOLF ACADEMY after the event. SPONSORS OBJECTIVE: Provide brand exposure and experience to these key group of young teaching golf professionals to become future advocates to your company.
INTRODUCTION Through the joint effort from the Mulligans group (a non profit amateur golf group) and event logistics company Dynamic Events, four or more International Golf Professionals will be coming to Southern China from August 10th to 13th to offer young teaching professionals advise and tips. To celebrate the Olympic year, Bill Rogers (1981 British Open Champion) and a few top teaching instructors have already committed their attendance to the unique event. Fees for the International Golf Professionals will be covered by the Mulligans Group with participants paying only for their transportation and logistic fees. Out of good will and the love for golf, the Mulligans group hope this mini training camp will assist young Chinese teaching pros to improve their skills and overall sportsmanship.

Rogers was born in Waco, Texas. His father was a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force and he spent time in Morocco and Germany as a boy. Later he attended the University of Houston, where he roomed with fellow future PGA Tour pro Bruce Lietzke. As an amateur golfer he played for the U.S. in the 1973 Walker Cup. Rogers played the PGA Tour full-time from 1975 to 1988. He won six tournaments, including four in 1981. His British Open win came in 1981 and took place at Royal St George's, where he bettered runner up Bernhard Langer by four strokes. In 1982 Rogers won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf and left the tour in 1988 while taking a position as director of golf at San Antonio Country Club, where he worked for eleven years. Since turning fift y in 2001 he has played sporadically on the Champions Tour, and his most notable accomplishment was winning the team portion of the 2002 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf with Bruce Lietzke.

WALLY ARMSTRONG
Wally has played professionally and taught golf since 1968 after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelors and Masters Degree. After competing in over 300 PGA Tour events with 30 top 10 finishes and a fifth place finish in the Masters, he gained a lifetime membership to the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. Wally is an accomplished clinician and speaker. Since leaving the PGA Tour in 1984 Wally has participated in over 500 teaching and speaking events. He is recognized by his peers as one of the most creative teachers of the game. Hall of Famer, Gary Player, says “Wally is a true master and teaches the feel of the golf swing in a clear, understandable, yet fun way”. TODD HOWARD
Todd Howard started playing the game of golf at age 12 while growing up in Tolono, Illinois. As the number 1 ranked player in his High School team, Todd left college in 1981 to take up an opportunity to work as an apprentice with John Jacobs Golf school. Shelby Futch, the owner of the Jacob’s organization took Todd under his wing and encouraged Todd to join the P.G.A. program in 1984. By 1987 Todd was Head Instructor and had the honor on many occasions to learn directly from John Jacob’s himself. Jeffrey Cranford graduated from Rice University in 1987, where he played on the golf team. Upon graduation, Jeffrey moved to the Palm Springs, Ca. area where he has resided for 20 years. As a member of the PGA of America, Jeffrey has served at some of the most prestigious clubs in the country, including The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, Ca., the Maroon Creek Club in Aspen, Co. and the La Quinta Hotel Golf Club in La Quinta, Ca. He is currently a member at The Palms Golf Club in La Quinta, Ca. Jeffrey has also played PGA Tour, Nike Tour, Nationwide Tour and European Tour events over the last 10 years. In 2000, Jeffrey won the Southern California PGA Championship which allowed him to play in the Buick Open at Torrey Pines, the Los Angeles Open and the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
